Believe and See, See and Believe

Dear Readers,

In today's post, allow me to share with you another technique to strengthen your mental image and to further convince yourself of possessing (or receiving) your desired traits. All you will need is an image editor, such as Photoshop or Pixlr.com (free online!) And of course, some knowledge of how to use these programs will be helpful as well.

What you can do is edit your photos to show yourself with the ideal change you are seeking. This technique has been used for weight loss, where it invokes the desired result into an individual's mind. Seeing yourself with the desired change makes it much more vivid and believable to your mind.

Miracle Story: Joseph Pierce Farrell, Manifesting Michelangelo

He has successfully healed patients of facial deformities, rejuvenated skin for a more youthful appearance, and bone fractures - all through using consciousness! His book, Manifesting Michelangelo, is a testimony to his success in treatment and the discoveries he has made in the field of energy healing. There are numerous videos of his interviews on Youtube, and you can also visit his website for more information about his work.

Back from a hiatus!

Dear Readers,

Though there haven't been any new posts since last month, I am now back and enthusiastic to provide you with new information and keep you updated on my own progress.

I will admit that my consistence during the past few weeks hasn't been the best, and I haven't been visualizing as frequently and as consistently as I did in the beginning. Nevertheless, it pleases me to say that I have made mental progress - the reality of my facial bones changing form has grown stronger in my consciousness and these beliefs are being reinforced every day. My image of the look I would like to possess has grown much clearer and more definite. My method has evolved, and in this post, you will read how.

One text that has influenced me a lot is "It Works" R.H. Jarrett. This small book was written in the 1920s and gives very concise instructions about how to attain anything you wish. You can find a free online copy here.
  1. Make a list as mentioned in "It Works". Become very specific about what you want, make a clear list and look at it three times a day - morning, daytime, and night. When you read this list, your subconscious mind takes hold of these desires and works to bring them to physical reality. Whenever I read my list, I try to feel grateful and happy about each item, as if I possess/experience all of them. With this list, it's helped me to list smaller (but urgent) goals towards the top of the list. I also make sure to give myself ample time to see them through. For instance, my goal for my eyes is 4mm wider on each side by 22 November 2012.
  2. Visualize morning and night for 15-20 minutes. I feel a tingling sensation and light pressure in the areas of my face where my eyes are moving into position (sorry if that came out oddly in this language!) Visualizations in the day have also been helpful for me when I feel especially motivated. I like to think of it this way : some days, I may feel more motivated or have more time to put towards the accomplishment of my physical change goals. So on those days I take advantage of my mental state and visualize for longer periods and with more intensity than usual. Those days balance out the times when my focus wanders.
  3. When I visualize, I sometimes use the recordings of Zixia or Victoria Wizell (search "Victoria Wizell grow taller" on Google.) Though they are specified towards growing taller, I apply them to changing my facial bone structure, particularly the shape and size of my eye sockets and nasal bridge. I have found that listening to these hypnosis recordings help me stay focused and often put me in a hypnotic trance quicker.
  4. Keep track of your progress with a calendar. I write the days I have visualized (ideally every day!) on a calendar. This way I can see how much I've put into my goal and can see when and if I get off track, such as last month. Seeing my effort on paper really solidifies how much I want this and how I must discipline myself I am going to get there.
When a doubtful thought comes to mind, it is much, much easier and more natural for me to switch it into a positive one. For instance, when I feel down about my current appearance and think how unhappy I feel looking this way, I quickly remind myself that my new face - with its beauty and balanced proportions - is on its way! I tell myself that I should be thankful and happy that it is happening, that progress and physical growth is occurring every day, and that with each time I visualize, my dream is within closer reach. I remind myself that I have put the effort into learning about the mind, visualizing, and becoming very clear about my desires. It's natural to become impatient when you are waiting for something, but it is good to know that it is still coming, and that it's only been two months.

I also remind myself of the other things I have accomplished in my life, especially those that would have been deemed as "impossible" by the majority of people.

Believe in yourself - don't ever let anyone else tell you what you can and cannot do.

Best wishes to all,

~BB

My 15+ Minute Visualization Routine

Dear Readers,

I apologize for not updating for a week. I've been quite busy with handling a lot of formalities with my international move (very exciting and good, I'm super happy!) Thus, I haven't had much time to write a thoughtful post.

The past week I haven't really focused too much on my visualizations about changing the distance between my eyes. As I stated, there have been a lot of other things going on in my life that have been keeping me occupied. Nevertheless, I certainly haven't forgotten about my goal with changing my appearance and sharing my journey as well as my knowledge on this blog.

I began my regular visualization routine yesterday before bed, returning with great focus and vision. In case I didn't mention it before, my visualization consists of listening to two audio recordings of encouragement and imagining myself living with my new eyes. These I recorded myself, and they are a total of 5 minutes long. One focuses on how excited I am to be receiving these eyes right now, how happy I am that my bones and my face is changing, and how my face loves that I'm allowing it to obtain its perfect structure - the structure in my mind that I send lots of loving thoughts and admiration to. The other is written in the tense of when the physical change will be blatantly noticeable. In this recording, I speak about how wonderful I feel when I look in the mirror and feel so happy with myself and how I look. I also mention the frequent stares of people at me, how many people notice my new beauty, and how I love feeling the beautiful new contours of my face. (This is not meant to sound conceited or egotistical, it's just reinforcing some good things for my own mind. Something that I just keep in my visualizations to give them some added feeling.) The recordings make the change even more real to me, and more attainable. They help to set the stage for the rest of the visualization and my final emotions before falling asleep. If you are an auditory person or simply think that this would be a good practice for you, make some simple recordings with your computer microphone. Add emotion and a real sense of conviction to your voice and you will not be disappointed!

After this part of my visualization, I spend around 10 minutes (sometimes a little more) focusing on all of those good thoughts that my recordings reinforced. I also imagine my cells expanding and the details of my face up close. I imagine having my photo taken and feeling really happy about how I look in them. I imagine meeting people and being confident about myself. Overall, I feel just simple yet powerful feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment. They remind me of how much I desire this change and what I'm doing to make it happen. It's good to congratulate yourself on the steps you're taking because it will encourage you to take more. Congratulating also reinforces your belief in the process and makes a barrier against any negative thoughts you may face.

Sending you all love, encouragement, and support. The change is happening, even if you can't see it yet!

Tips for Creating Change (Part 1)

  • Persist - don’t give up!
This may seem obvious, but when results don’t seem to be showing, remember that they are just beneath the surface. Just as a germinating seed, it takes a while for the seed to sprout above the soil. From the time it’s planted in the ground, the seed needs nurturing and special care. You have to water it everyday, expose it to sunlight, and make sure that it stays unharmed. Like a seed about to sprout, your thoughts cause your appearance to change into what you desire. But those changes won’t happen unless you feed them and give them your attention every day.

  • Create a visualization routine
A great way to assure that you will persist with your visualization is to create a routine. Now, this practice doesn’t have to be a strict routine in any sense, rather a block of structured time to focus on the change you have in mind. Use the time as a reminder and a direction, don’t feel as if you must use it as a definite guide. Personally, I like to reserve 15 minutes for visualization each morning upon waking. During this time, I imagine my bone cells expanding and shifting shape, or simply how it feels having wider set and larger eyes. Sometimes I like to imagine myself with these eyes in different situations. It gives me a lot of positive energy and encouragement to feel the happiness that having these eyes brings me!

  • Make an inspiration board
Also called a vision board, this will give you inspiration for your change. Create a collage of examples of your desired feature. Look at this every day to provide inspiration and focus. Know that soon, you will be calling these features your own! Maybe you will assemble a collection of images to set as your desktop wallpaper. You could make a tumblr page with photos of people with the desired traits. Or perhaps a physical collage of magazine clippings would be what works best for you.

  • Find a support system
This is one of the reasons why I began this blog. My intention is for it to allow people with similar the goals to exchange advice and offer mutual support. Having a coach or a mentor is great for your progress. You just may meet one here in the comments section! If anything, I hope that I will act as a mentor to guide you.

My Goals for Physical Change

Why did I begin this blog? Well, it is important to me to achieve certain changes in my facial structure and features. I desire to become the physical vision of myself that I have in my mind. This version of my face is not too different from how I look right now - the coloring and the majority of the features and structure is the same. However, there are a few areas that I would like to change in order to fit this image.

The primary change I am focusing on now is the spacing between my eyes. This is the one change that I believe will bring more physical beauty to my face. In proportion to my other facial features, my eyes are a bit small and too close together. To achieve a more harmonious and beautiful look, I'm seeking to increase the spacing between my eyes by several millimeters to a little over a centimeter. I am also setting out to increase the length and height of each eye, giving the area a more open and youthful look.

This change is something that I have been seeking to create for a long time. I have tried to visualize and to undergo self hypnosis before, but I didn't persist long enough to see results. Had I continued with the process, I would have the desired change right now. That's one of the primary reasons that I have created this blog - a physical record of your daily actions can keep you focused and motived to see your goal to the finish.

Please note that I will not be posting pictures here - I prefer to keep my identity private. Nevertheless, you may post links to your own pictures if you wish.

Sending you focus and positive energy to achieve the change you seek!

- Becoming Beautiful

Welcome to Becoming Beautiful!

Welcome to the Becoming Beautiful blog, a blog about changing physical appearance by using mind techniques such as visualization and meditation among others. This blog serves as my personal account of the processes I'm undertaking to achieve my goals. It also offers you tips, advice, and support for changing how you look using mental processes. Please feel free post and share your experiences. Ask any questions you may have about this process, as the support is beneficial to all of us.

Though changing your appearance through mental techniques is believed to be impossible by most of Western society, my blog is a place for those who believe in the power of the subconscious mind and our greater capabilities as humans. I have spent years researching and learning about ways that people have changed features such as their eye color, nose shape, height, breast size, among many others. These stories are not well known to the general public, but they do show what is possible if we believe and do.

With perseverance and persistence, we learn through our mistakes and accomplish what we set out to. Instead of succumbing to society's perception of the truth, decide for yourself. What is your own truth? You can achieve the desired physical change through your mind with persistence and adamance.

I believe in you and your abilities. I know that you will achieve the change that will bring you joy and contentment. Know that you are receiving lots of faith and positive energy right now.

Best of luck to everyone,
Becoming Beautiful
